We get this question from the of age of around 4 or 5.
It sets us up for disappointment.

I grew up in a small rural village in Ireland. When I looked outside my bedroom window I would see green bushes and black and white cows their pink noses and long pink tongues cleaning out their left nostril staring back at me.
Why is it when I am filling up our broken washing machine with water through the detergent drawer jug by jug by jug am I struck with inspiration, clarity and an itch that needed to be scratched. ?
